Quanta is a two-piece group that plays music from many genres,
including jazz, blues, and folk, and from many composers, including
Duke Ellington, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, as well as their own compositions.
Richard Bertram plays the alto and tenor
saxophones,
clarinet, bass guitar, and a variety of percussion instruments.
Jack Quine plays the keyboard, guitar, and
is the vocalist
of the group.
The group has been together for over 20 years, and performs regularly at the
Blue Tavern,
the Tallahassee Downtown Market, and has performed at the
Tallahasssee Jazz & Blues Festival on several occasions.
